Explosion-protected worm gearmotors for potentially explosive atmospheres

Are you looking for a reliable, low-maintenance and explosion-protected drive solution? Then our worm gearmotors from the two-stage S..EDR... series are a very good choice.

The combination of a reliable motor and robust worm gearbox offers you ATEX-compliant protection in the medium torque range. Thanks to their special design features, these gearmotors are particularly running smoothness and low noise. Thanks to the two-stage design, the explosion-protected S..EDR.. worm gearmotors have a comparatively high efficiency.

You can also benefit from the special cost-effectiveness of this drive. Thanks to their simple yet robust design, you save measurable costs, can reduce the installation space and have an optimised explosion-protected drive solution.

Our S..EDR.. worm gearmotors are available with motor outputs from 0.12 kW to 45 kW. Depending on the selected gearbox configuration, output torques ranging from 92 Nm to 4,000 Nm are available. Take advantage of all the possibilities offered by the optional equipment as a flange or foot gearmotor - either as a solid or hollow shaft design.
