Your advantages

Guarantee contactor protection
because this drive component, i.e. the complete gearmotor, is ATEX-compliant.

Utilise available space
as our F..EDR.. gearmotors have a compact design and make optimum use of the upright space available.

Optimise power rating
as the modular system enables many combinations of EDR...-motors with parallel shaft gearboxes.

Explosion-protected helical gear units R..EDR..

Contactor and compactness in one component

Are you looking for a compact and safe drive solution for potentially explosive atmospheres? Then you are always on the safe side with the F..EDR.. helical-bevel gearmotors in accordance with ATEX.

Due to their design, the standard parallel shaft gearboxes in the F series can be installed in an extremely space-saving manner. In connection with the EDR... motors, you receive a complete ATEX-compliant gearmotor in accordance with equipment group II in category 2GD or 3GD.

Our explosion-protected F..EDR.. gearmotors can therefore be used for all your applications in sensitive gas zones 1 and 2 as well as dust zones 21 and 22 without any problems. With them, you are not making any compromises, but consistently focussing on protection and compact drive power.

Maximum power diversity is ensured by 10 different motor sizes with a power range from 0.12 kW to 45 kW. The modular system for chamfer gearboxes F allows you an almost infinite range of variations and completely customised configuration options.

This means that you always have the right solution, especially in conveyor and process engineering. Especially if you want to pack a lot of power rating into a small space.
