Functional safety not only contributes to personal safety, but also significantly to increasing the productivity of systems and machines. That's why we rely on flexible solutions with safetyDRIVE. All our drives and frequency inverters offer the function of safely disconnecting the electrical power to the motor (STO). The portfolio is completed by the MOVISAFE^®-components - integrated as DFS..B or DCS..B option cards in the inverter or modular as UCS..B safety modules. The options support all essential motion functions such as Safely Limited Speed (SLS), Safe Direction (SDI), Safe Operating Stop (SOS), as well as position-dependent functions such as Safely Limited Increment (SLI) and Safely Limited Position (SLP). The safety functions can be realised independently or controlled via safe fieldbuses such as PROFIsafe. This makes it easy to implement safety concepts in control cabinet drive technology. Modular safety service packages

We offer certified safety components and relevant safety parameters in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 in the form of data sheets and a SISTEMA library library. This enables us to provide you with seamless validation of safety functions, rounded off by our modular, flexible safety service packages.

In cooperation with TÜV, we have successfully mapped all phases of the safety lifecycle. In addition to the components for functional safety, our safety technology services for the Machinery Directive include dimensioning, validation of safety functions and startup. These are complemented by the supportive advice of our qualified employees, who have many years of experience in questions relating to CE conformity procedures and risk assessment.
