Whether asynchronous three-phase drives or synchronous servo drives - the application inverters MOVIDRIVE® B application inverters can handle it. The wide power range from 0.55 kW to 315 kWthe high overload capacity and the modular unit concept of MOVIDRIVE® B help you to improve the flexibility and efficiency of your applications.

The compact design of the MOVIDRIVE® drive inverters save control cabinet space, their ease of operation saves time when parameterising and the intelligent positioning and sequence control IPOSplus® is always on board.

A large number of inputs/outputs in the drive inverter already offer you a high level of basic functionality. It can be expanded quickly and easily with optional communication and technology modules.

Designs

1. standard version

The devices are equipped as standard with the integrated positioning and sequence control IPOSplus® and can be extended with the options quoted. You can recognise the standard version by the numbers "00" at the end of the type designation.

2. technology version

In addition to the characteristics of the standard version, these devices include the technology functions "electronic cam" and "internal synchronous operation". You can recognise the technology version by the numbers "0T" at the end of the type designation.

The devices in the technology version also offer access to the application modules, the standardised control programs for solving technically demanding drive tasks, such as

MOVITOOLS engineering software® MotionStudio MOVITOOLS® MotionStudio is a programme package that allows you to conveniently control MOVITRAC® B frequency inverters and the MOVIDRIVE® B drive inverters® B drive inverters into operation, parameterize and diagnose them.
MOVIDRIVE® regenerative power supply® MDR60A 15 kW to 160 kW MOVIDRIVE® MDR61B 160 kW to 315 kW With regenerative power supply, several devices can be supplied with power via a central line connection. In generator mode, the power rating is fed back into the supplying grid. The use of MDR60A/MDR61B saves energy and installation costs.
Type BW braking resistors The BW series of braking resistors is the right option for the generator mode of MOVITRAC® frequency inverters.® B frequency inverters and MOVIDRIVE® B drive inverters.® B drive inverters. An integrated temperature sensor can be used to contactor the resistance without external monitoring.
Line choke type ND The mains chokes of the ND series increase the overvoltage protection of the inverters. An important characteristic in harsh industrial networks, especially if the inverter is installed close to the mains supply transformer.
Line filter type NF For EMC-compliant installation in accordance with EN 61800-3, the NF series line filters are available; they suppress interference emission on the mains side of inverters. These line filters comply with limit value class C1 on the mains side.
Output chokes type HD The output chokes of the HD series suppress the interference emission of the unshielded motor cable. With EMC-compliant installation, limit value class C1 in accordance with EN 61800-3 is therefore complied with on the motor side. In terms of EMC-compliant installation, the output choke is therefore the alternative to the shielded motor cable.
Output filter type HF The output filters of the HF series are sine filters for smoothing the output voltage of inverters. Output filters are used in group drives to suppress the recharging currents in the motor cables and to avoid voltage peaks in long motor cables.
