Your advantages

High flexibility
due to customised adaptation to the drive topology (number of drives, dec. inputs/outputs, safety technology, fieldbus).

Fast system availability
thanks to pluggable connections, configuration via DIP switches and an overall concept with just one screw.

Confirmed safety
by fulfilling certified safety options from safe communication to safe disconnection and safe movement.

Low complexity
thanks to full pluggability and integrated additional functions (maintenance switch etc.) for simple system planning.

Distribution list for controlling multiple drives

Our MOVIFIT® distribution list®-MC distributor in the Classic function level design is a decentralised gateway for communication and power supply. It can control up to three MOVIMOT®-gearmotors with inverters. Maximum flexibility for your system planning. Different mechanical characteristics of the system are covered by one and the same drive concept.

The Classic function level does not require any explicit operating software for startup. Simple DIP switches make the relevant settings and the distribution list and the associated MOVIMOT® are immediately ready for use. Control of the downstream MOVIMOT® is controlled using standardised process data profiles via the SPS. With our "MOVIFIT® -gateway configurator" provides you with simple configuration and diagnostics methods.

Our MOVIFIT® distribution list®-MC distributor is equipped for field use. The high degree of protection IP65 is standard. Its robust aluminium cast housing is divided into an electronics unit (EBOX) and connection unit (ABOX). A major advantage is the locking mechanism with just one screw and the automatic device replacement function. This enables quick mounting and smooth device replacement when servicing is required.

Our distribution list also offers a lot in terms of safety. Equipped with extensive and scalable safety functions, you can use it in safety technology areas. From the safe disconnection of the MOVIMOT®-drives to speed-dependent safety functions activated via fieldbus, everything is possible.

Find out more on this page about the connection variants, the safety functions and the functional scope of our associated software (function level).

The distribution list consists of an electronic unit (EBOX) and the connection unit (ABOX) shown here. The connection box (ABOX) of the MOVIFIT® represents a large plug and is completely passive. It is available in two designs:

MOVIFIT® Standard connection box

All cables to be connected are routed into the ABOX via cable glands and wired to terminals there.

MOVIFIT® Hybrid connection box

The hybrid connection box (ABOX) of the MOVIFIT® offers the option of designing various connections as plug-in connections. The cables for the power supply and the motor cables are routed into the ABOX via cable glands and wired to terminals. M12 plugs are provided for the digital inputs/outputs. The bus system can be connected via plugs. The bus connectors differ depending on the fieldbus used.

Function level refers to the functional scope of the MOVIFIT®-devices in terms of software:

  • Software functionality
  • Processing of digital inputs/outputs
  • Local system control
  • Startup, operation and diagnostics

Classic" function level

Simple and standardised functionalities

  • "Easy-Mode": Simple startup possible via DIP switch
  • Standardised drive functionality
  • Control as a fieldbus gateway
  • Extended configuration and diagnostics methods via gateway configurator

Monitor and react safely! From safe disconnection (STO) to speed-dependent safety functions (SDI, SLS). Our distribution list is available in various safety technology versions and options, also in combination with MOVIMOT® is also available.

The functions can be controlled via safe terminals as well as via PROFIsafe. In stand-alone operation, our S12 safety option can take over local evaluation, processing and switch-off of safety-related signals and functions. A higher-level safety controller is not necessary in stand-alone operation.
