Explosion-protected variant: The dynamic servo worm gearmotors

The explosion-protected design of the S..CMP.. servo worm gearmotors offers you maximum safety. They are designed for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres and fulfil all requirements for equipment group II in category 3 according to ATEX.

This allows you to utilise the advantages of the S..CMP.. servo worm gearmotors and implement maximum safety at the same time. With the explosion-protected servo worm geared motors, you can rely on dynamics, running smoothness and precision. This applies in particular to all your systems where the effectiveness of individual precise steps in complex processes is important.

As angular drives, they are space-saving and save installation space. The explosion-protected S..CMP.. gearmotors are designed to guarantee you a low-noise system environment. In addition, the drives offer you outstanding damping properties for the low-vibration operation of your systems. This is because the force is transmitted to the input shaft in a linear fashion. This effectively prevents torque impulses and achieves a high dimension of running smoothness and noise reduction.

The ATEX certification covers equipment group II and equipment category 3. The combinations are available in the II3GD and II3D designs.
