Your advantages

Consistent quotation
because the gear units offer finely stepped torques and gear ratios for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Simple combinations
because you can simply combine an Ex helical gearbox with an explosion-protected motor of your choice from our modular design.

Explosion-protected offset gearboxes

The classics: Variety and power rating even in potentially explosive atmospheres

Our explosion-protected helical gearboxes have equipment group II, category 2 approval. They ensure movement in systems and machines in potentially explosive atmospheres.

A total of six single-stage and 15 two- and three-stage sizes cover a power range from 50 Nm to 18 000 Nm . This series is also far ahead in terms of gear unit ratios: from i = 1.30 to i = 289.74, and even up to i = 27 001 for double gear units. You will hardly find such finely stepped torques and gear unit ratios on the market.

The R gear units are also happy to fulfil requirements for high output speeds or low weight. Always with high efficiency included, the explosion-protected helical gearboxes offer the optimum ratio of torque and installation space.

Only half the solution without a motor? Then take advantage of our sophisticated modular system and combine the explosion-protected gear units of the R series with a motor. explosion-protected motor of your choice.
