Our MOVITRANS®-technology works on the principle of inductive energy supply. The energy is transmitted contactless and wireless via an air gap. In this way, electromagnetic coupling is completely wear-free, quiet and low-maintenance.

MOVITRANS® spot consists of stationary and mobile system components. together. They can be easily and quickly integrated into existing automation systems. The air gap between the point charging plate and pick-up is nominally 20 mm. This enables high transmission performance even with high ground clearance.

Safe disconnection

SAFS:
Safe disconnection of the power supply for inactive field plates

To prevent people from coming under the influence of invisible electromagnetic fields, our MOVITRANS®-technology has the unique safety function "SAFS". The abbreviation stands for Safe AC Field Stop (AC = alternating current). With the SAFS function, for example, the charging point can be safely disconnected if there is no vehicle above the point. The charging point is therefore safely field-free.

The SAFS function fulfils safety level SIL2:

  • When the function is activated, no alternating current flows into the field plate and there is no electromagnetic alternating field.
  • For this purpose, a safe two-channel 24 V signal that can be switched off on an input blocks the output that generates the high frequency.
  • The SAFS function complies with the ISO 13849 standard at performance level d (abbreviation PL d) or the IEC 61800-5-2 standard for drive systems.
