The already high demands on machine cycles, acceleration and linear travel speeds in many areas such as handling, transport and production are constantly increasing. At the same time, users of such demanding systems attach great importance to drive technology that is as wear-free and maintenance-free as possible. The convection-cooled direct drive offers all the prerequisites for rigid and high control quality with high dynamics and consistent precision.

The special characteristic for your process reliability: by directly generating the linear movement and force, the linear motors do not require any mechanical transmission elements and therefore no wear parts such as screws, ball bearings or toothed belts. In addition, modern winding technology and the laminated iron core required for this ensure an optimised force-to-density ratio.

Three motor versions are available: the SL2-Basic, SL2-Advance-System and SL2-Power-System variants. All motors are available in various active widths and lengths and are available in the speed classes 1, 3 and 6 m/s. We also focus on your flexibility: the secondary parts of the linear motors are available in different lengths and can be easily joined together as required.

The SL2-Advance / Power system is as easy to integrate as a gearmotor. Our motor cooling unit already solves all the crucial elements of the machine design. It takes into account cooling surface, strength, dead weight, bearing mounting, load mounting and thermal expansion. The SL2-Power-System design has a higher nominal force due to the built-in forced cooling fan.
