Versatile
All types of synchronous and asynchronous motors can be controlled. Optional motor encoders or mechanical brakes can be adapted.
Intelligent
The information from the electronic nameplate as well as brake and diagnostic data are transmitted directly to the inverter.
Simple
The intelligent, digital connection with a standardised hybrid cable enables the power supply and data connection between the decentralized inverter and motor.
Safe
Integrated STO (Safe Torque Off) safety function in PL e. Binary control or optionally via PROFINET®/PROFIsafe.
We have further developed our decentralised product range on the basis of our MOVI-C® modular automation system. With MOVIMOT® flexible, the decentralised inverter can be installed close to the motor in your system. Whether synchronous or asynchronous motor - with MOVIMOT® flexible, you decide which motor technology you prefer.

The decentralised inverter MOVIMOT® flexible consists of an inverter and a connection box with field distributor function.
MOVIMOT® flexible is available available in two variants available. MMF1. is a lean basic variant that already includes all inverter functions. MMF3. also offers additional options for simplified installation and operation. For example, a load-break switch (with or without integrated cable protection) and preparation for mounting an operating device. A key switch with feedback contact can also be integrated.
Power class 1 (size 1/1E) of the decentralised inverter enables power ratings between 0.55 and 2.2 kW (depending on the motor type) thanks to nominal output currents of 2.0, 2.5, 3.2, 4.0 and 5.5 A. Power class 2 (size 2/2E) with nominal output currents of 7.0, 9.5, 12.5 and 16.0 A delivers power ratings from 3.0 kW to 7.5 kW.

The MOVIMOT® flexible is a versatile inverter with a connection box with field distributor function for installation close to the motor.
Dynamic materials handling technology with speed-controlled axes through to positioning tasks:
Do you want an even simpler solution by integrating the inverter into the motor?
Our MOVIMOT® advanced drive unit is the all-rounder for use in many intelligent logistics applications and combines an asynchronous motor with a frequency inverter.
Whether control technology, inverters or drives, centralised or decentralised - all components from the MOVI-C® modular automation system speak and understand every language.
Plan the design of your machines or systems with a control, communication or installation topology, our hardware and software integrates/adapts easily and simply implements the movement.
Customised motion control applications increasingly rely on the EtherCAT® CiA402 profile. It is also used directly in the field to control different drives via field distributors. Whether this bus communication interface or a different one comes into question - with MOVIMOT® flexible you have every possible combination.
The Drive" category includes MOVIKIT®-software modules that are operated directly on the MOVIMOT® flexible decentralised inverter:
Single-cable technology for power supply and data transmission with digital encoder for synchronous and asynchronous motors
In fact, only one hybrid cable is required for the data connection between the inverter and motor. The MOVILINK® DDI digital data interface transfers the power, brake, encoder and diagnostics data to the motor.
The MOVI-C® modular automation system enables customers to solve their applications with inverters in the control cabinet as well as with motor-related or motor-integrated drive electronics without noticing any differences in dimensioning, handling and performance. Digital motor integration is an elementary component of the platform. In addition to automatic startup of the drive train, it also enables the transmission of various sensor signals from the motor to the electronics without any additional installation work.
Ecodesign Regulation - Since 1 July 2021, this has had a noticeable impact on the equipment of machines and systems. Even for decentralised drive solutions?
