MOVIPRO® technology - powerful, universally applicable, scalable

MOVIPRO® technology is a decentralised inverter that can meet applications with demanding requirements. In addition to powerful, scalable safety technology, it has the function of positioning with all common motor encoders or external encoders. Thanks to the large power range of up to 30 kW, the decentralised inverter can also be used for lifting applications with heavy loads. The installation effort is minimal thanks to the pluggable interfaces.

  • Motor types: Can be combined with SEW synchronous/asynchronous drives (with/without encoders) and third-party motors.
  • MOVILINK® DDI: The digital motor interface with electronics nameplate, which contains all drive unit data. This makes manual motor commissioning This eliminates the need for manual motor startup, saving you valuable time and preventing potential errors during startup.
  • Encoder evaluation: Evaluation of common motor encoders (MOVILINK® DDI, sin/cos, TTL/HTL, RS422, HIPERFACE®).

Digital motoring operation and data integration

Single-cable technology for power supply and data transmission with digital encoder for synchronous and asynchronous motors

In fact, only one hybrid cable is required for the data connection between the inverter and motor. The MOVILINK® DDI digital data interface transfers the power, brake, encoder and diagnostics data to the motor.

MOVIPRO® technology combines the flexibility of control cabinet technology with the installation benefits and robustness of decentralised technology. The decentralised inverter impresses with its performance and scalable design, making it the best choice for a wide range of applications. In addition, the universal genius can be installed quickly and safely in the field thanks to its housing with a high degree of protection and pluggable interfaces, meaning that the customer does not need an additional control cabinet. With MOVIPRO® technology and the MOVI-C® modular automation system, customers have a choice: they can either solve their applications with control cabinet technology or with decentralised techniques. The handling and operation are identical, only the housing and interfaces have been adapted to the requirements of the environment.
