Hardware and software from a single source

Especially in applications with a large number of axes and many degrees of freedom, it is important to maintain an overview and ensure clarity. As the functionality of systems and drive technology becomes ever more extensive, the requirements in terms of operation, visualization and diagnostics also increase.

Our modular visualisation system is based on three components:

  • the hardware, monitors and panels
  • the software, the MOVIKIT® software module® Visualisation software module and
  • the visualisation frameworks, predefined templates

Based on the MOVI-C® CONTROLLERs UHX25A, UHX45A and UHX65, the first step is for users to select a suitable, industrial-grade display unit (e.g. a Web Operator Panel, an operator terminal or a handheld terminal), depending on the application. In the second step, the MOVIKIT® Visualisation software module (Web Visualisation, Visualisation basic, Visualisation flexible or Visualisation multi) can be used to originate a graphical user interface. This can be freely designed or based on simple (free) to complex (chargeable) ready-made templates (frameworks). One example of this is the MOVIKIT® Visualisation add-on ParameterMonitor software module.

The software modules in the MOVIKIT® Visualisation category allow the originator to create any number of complex user interfaces based on available and expandable visualisation elements using the visualisation editor integrated in the IEC editor. MOVIKIT® Visualisation thus noticeably shortens the development time. The generated visualisation runs on the entire MOVI-C® controller portfolio and on Windows 10-based systems. MOVIKIT® Visualisation is supplemented by so-called frameworks (templates).
