Time saving
Quick and easy startup thanks to the electronic nameplate and the use of preconfigured MOVIKIT® software modules.
Simplicity
Quick and easy device replacement during servicing without an engineering PC thanks to the portable memory module for storing all device data.
Openness
Connection to common control systems thanks to support for various fieldbus protocols and the CiA402 drive profile.
Flexibility
Configurable functional safety - from integrated STO safety function to higher-level safety functions and safe communication.
If you need a compact inverter that makes your work easier and at the same time offers you the openness control system, our MOVITRAC® advanced is the right choice for you.
Designed and developed as a compact all-rounderMOVITRAC® advanced can control and monitor both synchronous and asynchronous AC motors without/with encoders, as well as asynchronous motors with LSPM technology or synchronous and asynchronous linear motors. It has a wide power range from 0.25 to 315 kW and an overload capacity of 150 %.
Flexibility MOVITRAC® advanced offers flexibility thanks to its integrated communication interfacewhich enables connection to common control systems. It can be connected either via PROFINET, EtherNet/IPTMEtherCAT®/SBusPLUS, TCP mode, EtherCAT® CiA402 or POWERLINK CiA402. The functional safety can also be configured with MOVITRAC® advanced - from the integrated STO safety function to higher-level safety functions and secure communication.
The MOVITRAC® advanced is ideal for conveyor belts, vertical drives and palletisers - a real compact all-rounder.

Which products can the MOVITRAC® advanced standard inverter be combined with?
With almost all components from the SEW-EURODRIVE modular system - you are sure to find the right one for your application! Combine the standard inverter with standard or servo gearmotors, e.g. new additions to the programme: synchronous servomotors from the CM3C series.... Or simply select a suitable decentralised drive for your requirements.

Whether control technology, inverters or drives, centralised or decentralised - all components from the MOVI-C® modular automation system speak and understand every language.
Plan the design of your machines or systems with a control, communication or installation topology, our hardware and software integrates/adapts easily and simply implements the movement.
Standard without restrictions, even when it comes to communication expertise: you determine the open-loop control or communication topology - the MOVITRAC® has the necessary interface on board and simply controls the motor assigned to it.
MOVIKIT® software modules can be used in connection with MOVITRAC® advanced. The category "Drive" category includes MOVIKIT® software modules that are operated directly on the inverter from the MOVI-C® modular automation system. These are connected directly to the overlaid open-loop control system and are controlled individually via the corresponding interface. Various applications can thus be realised via a convenient and fast configuration - without any programming knowledge. Depending on the requirements, extensive additional functions are available, such as sensor-based positioning. MOVIKIT® software modules:
In fact, only one hybrid cable is required and installed for the data connection between the inverter and motor. And the MOVILINK® DDI digital data interface transfers the power, brake and diagnostic data to the motor.
Depending on the functional safety option selected, different functional scopes are available. The following table provides an overview.
