The foundation for this is laid by the compact combination of high-torque planetary gear units and dynamic synchronous servomotors from the CMP.. series. The servo planetary gear units contribute the consistently low rotational clearances, the high torsional stiffness and the torque. The synchronous servomotors ensure precise closed-loop control and high dynamics.
This allows you to optimise different precision sequences and achieve strong performance even with high cycle rate requirements. Thanks to their high efficiency, reliability and long service life, our explosion-protected servo planetary gearmotors offer you an economically viable solution from the modular system. The explosion-protected PS(K).F..CMP.. planetary servo gearmotors are available in equipment group II in categories II2GD (only for solo gearboxes with adapter) and II3GD (for direct-mounted planetary servo gearmotors).
ATEX certification covers equipment group II and equipment category 3. The combinations are available in the II3GD and II3D designs.
